132KV Daulat Nagar Gujrat
132KV Daulat Nagar Gujrat
Project Overview
At the 132kV Daulat Nagar Grid Station in Gujrat, our team completed comprehensive testing and commissioning of the entire grid infrastructure. This included detailed diagnostics and commissioning of key electrical assets such as power transformers, current transformers (CTs), voltage transformers (VTs), circuit breakers, LV and MV panels, protection relays, and power cables. The project also encompassed grounding system mesh integrity analysis and resistance verification to ensure personnel and equipment safety.
Testing Scope
The scope covered complete testing and commissioning of all electrical equipment, including:
-
Power transformers, CTs, VTs, circuit breakers, LV & MV panels, protection relays, and power cables
-
Earthing system testing, including mesh integrity and resistance verification
-
Strict compliance with NTDC and IEC standards throughout all procedures
Key Testing Procedures
Power transformers were tested for winding resistance, insulation resistance, turns ratio, SFRA, and Tan Delta using Omicron CPC 100 and FRANEO 800. CTs and VTs underwent ratio, polarity, burden, and insulation testing with Omicron test sets. Circuit breakers were evaluated through timing, contact resistance, and mechanical tests using Omicron CIBANO 500. MV/LV panels were checked for relay functionality and control circuits. Power cables were tested for insulation and HiPot with Intereng PGT-80. Grounding mesh continuity was confirmed with Omicron CPC 100.
